Lim Lite
3.1 Phillip Lim. Soft gray. Cowl neck. Coordinating sleeves. Witty buttons. Pintucking and pockets. And made for 5-year-olds. Lim’s children’s line (and price point) makes you want to be a kid again. And check out how effortlessly the girl below rocks it. Maybe she’ll give Kate & Co. a run for their money…in 15 years.

Typography and good ol’ black and white photography may be two of my favorite things, and nobody combines them quite as deliciously as Barbara Kruger. Well played.
Inspired, Indeed.

But his ubiquitous American Airlines and Bloomingdale’s logos don’t compare to his true masterpiece: the New York City subway sign system. While the signage is still in use, Vignelli’s elegant, abstracted map is not. Below are images of his original...

Tabla Street Cart // 11 Madison Ave., at 25th St.
Pretzels, hot dogs, pretzels, falafel, pretzels.
The world of the New York City food truck can seem rather limiting. Enter: the Tabla Street Cart, the new kid on the block (literally), courtesy of restauranteur extraordinaire (and St. Louis native) Danny Meyer. Just off the lovely Madison Square Park and directly in front of USHG’s...
