The man is an icon in the world of photography and fashion, and the current retrospective of his work at the International Center of Photography is stunning. On view until September, more than 200 pieces from a career that spanned nearly 60 years are being exhibited. Whether shot for the New Yorker or Vanity Fair, Vogue or Harper’s, Avedon’s prints are just as fresh today as they were decades ago.
