Futura Bold Oblique, Anyone?

Typography and good ol’ black and white photography may be two of my favorite things, and nobody combines them quite as deliciously as Barbara Kruger. Her subversive pieces critique consumerism and sexism, among other -isms. Juxtaposing cropped photos with seemingly unrelated captions, Kruger draws on her magazine design background to create powerful, iconic images.
